momcafé National is THRILLED to announce that effective October 4, 2012 Mary-Ann Rowlston is the Regional Mom Owner of momcafé Halifax. Mary-Ann was chosen because of her passion and dedication to supporting professional moms in Nova Scotia.
Mary-Ann is an innovative and results-driven executive with a clear understanding of business fundamentals and relationship management. Her broad-based background encompasses international business, hedge funds and small businesses. Mary-Ann has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Manitoba and obtained her CA Designation in 2001. After leaving her hometown of Winnipeg, Mary-Ann spent 10 years in Bermuda working in financial services for companies such as Butterfield Bank, JP Morgan and Concordia Advisors before moving to Nova Scotia in 2010. Mary-Ann is a co-owner of Intelligii Consulting Ltd. (www.intelligii.com), focusing on small businesses – developing sound financial reporting and management processes to assist business owners. As owner of momcafé – Halifax (momcafenetwork.com) Mary-Ann is enthusiastic about providing a local forum for moms of all types to network, collaborate and have fun! Mary-Ann is passionate about being a mom, a successful entrepreneur and finding balance. She lives in Halifax with her husband and three young children.
